We are very proud of Halos n Horns, our lovely range of bath time products for kids.  We have put a lot of effort into making sure that they are as safe to use as possible and have removed loads of chemical nasties that can be found in other toiletries products to make sure that you can enjoy bathing your children using gorgeous, fruity-smelling products without any niggling worries about what you're putting on their skin- bliss! 

In Halos you won't find any:

• SLS
• Phthalates
• MIT
• Parabens
• Triclosan
• Propylene Glycol
• SLES

 Why no SLS/SLES?

Well, Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate (SLS/SLES) is the most common surfactant used in kids toiletries to make them foam and cleanse.  Its widely used by big manufacturers as its cheap and effective but it can sometimes cause skin irritants or even worse aggravate serious conditions like dermatitis or eczema.  This is because, being a harsh detergent, it can strip the skin and hair of its natural oils.  We use plant based natural alternatives to ensure a more gentle product.

Why no Parabens?

Parabens are a group of commonly used preservatives (you can find them in most shampoos and toiletries, just check the back of pack).  They are very effective because they are aggressive and efficient at destroying the bacteria that can form and grow in these type of products.  Its because they are strong and aggressive that they are another common irritant responsible for upsetting the natural balance of the skin.  Worse still, they have been earning a dubious reputation amongst those studying the causes of breast cancer.  HOWEVER, its important to add that nothing has been proven yet, but guys, we want you to feel we are offering you complete peace of mind... so we left them out!
