Re: Christmas fun ideas |
| Using any scrap paper, bit of glue and lots of hands make paper chains to decorate your child's room / play room. Be adventurous and add glitter if you dare!!!! When you have more than one child you can get them to work together, taking turns to add a link and alternate colours OR make it into a game of who can make the longest chain in 30 mins! Good fun! (If you don't have "suitable" scrap paper you can buy paper chain kits!). If you aren't using tree lights you could also use it to decorate a tree.... |

Re: Christmas fun ideas |
| Using the Salt Dough or a basic biscuit recipe cut out some festive shapes, using a scewer make a little hanging hole at the top then using a small circular biscuit cutter (or a bottle lid if you don't have one small enough) cut a hole from the centre. Drop a fruit drop or boiled sweet in, bake. The sweet will melt and expand to fill the hole. Thread some string through the hole and hang on the tree! |

Re: Christmas fun ideas |
Edible tree decoration - or at least whilst you are making it but not after 2 weeks!!!! Pop some corn (without salt or sugar) and string it onto some thread then use to decorate a tree.
You could also do this with sweets, open a tin of your favourites, get some sticky tape and some pretty "wrapping ribbon" and stick sweets on at intervals in alternating shapes and colour. These can be eaten over the festive season or kept for 6th night as a post Christmas treat (don't do this if you plan to use Xmas lights though, they WILL melt!) |
