Re: Car journeys |
| Why don't you move up to ABC...choose a topic, such as cartoon characters, animals, toys or colours...the first person gives an option for A, so aristocat for cartoon characters, then you take it in turns going through the alphabet until you've got to Z....such fun, and you can always help the little ones by giving them lots of clues. My two love it! Good luck |

Re: Re: Car journeys |
| I make up stories about the people in the cars that we pass. For example you see those two he's an international spy and she doesn't know it yet!! and so on It can get very silly but is a lot of fun |

Re: Car journeys |
| These are fab ideas, thank you. I was chatting to my friend at the weekend and she said to do i spy with colours instead of objects which i thought was a good idea. She also suggested to get the kids to spot 5 of the same things eg 5 people wearing red, 5 blue cars and the winner gets a little prize. Just thought i'd share them with you! |

Re: Car journeys |
My children are just turned 4 & 7 and love car bingo. We draw pictures of things the other person has to find on the journey eg bridge, gate, different animals, signs. You make it as easy or difficult or hard as you need depending on length of journey (and it takes time to draw the pictures too). Also do I'I packed my bag' but do with alphabet in order and animals to help them remember. When I was a kid we took the 3 letters on a car reg plate and made up the best or worst possible dinner eg SWS could be slug and worm soup. Enjoy! |
