Personalise your Christmas stockings
You can buy some cheap Christmas stockings in the shops, so hunt for one that’s pretty plain, or at least plain on one side. Your little angel can sparkle his or her name across the stocking using glitter pens, so Santa will know which one belongs to who.
You could even add Christmas stickers and drawings, or, for a bit of luxury, some tinsel around the top.

Father Christmas Faces
Use a paper plate to create your own Father Christmas face.
Simply draw on the eyes, colour in a pink nose, and stick on some cotton wool for a beard and moustache.
Use old red fabric or felt to make a hat, and stick a bobble on the end.
And finally a little more cotton wool coming out of the hat for Father Christmas’ hair.
Then put it in pride of place in your house for everyone to admire!

Twinkle twinkle little star
Make your own stars with left over lolly sticks. The larger, flatter ice lolly sticks (if you can bear to eat them when it’s cold!) can be stuck on top of one another, and piled up in the middle to give a star with more than five points.
Or, use lolly pop sticks joined end to end to make the outer edge of a star shape. Then paint them and cover them in your favourite sparkling glitter. You can hang them using ribbon to make a loop.

Christmas ping pong
Ping pong balls make perfect Christmas pudding decorations. Simply paint them for the desired effect of yummy mince meat topped with a sprig of green holly and a berry.
They make great Christmas tree decorations, or line them up on a window-sill or mantelpiece to make a lovely festive display.

Christmas table decorations
Don’t forget many of your homemade tree decorations can also be placed on the table for Christmas lunch - either as part of the centre piece or a little something for individual place settings.
