Welcome to the seventh newsletter and the big news from TIPS is the recent launch of our brand new forum where you can join in conversations online covering all manner of parenting topics. Come along to register at: www.tipslimited.com/forum and let the chatting begin!
It's that time of year again when the schools go back and your infants come down with coughs and colds, often brought home by bigger brothers or sisters.
Watching your baby struggle for breath when they are suffering from a blocked nose (also known as upper respiratory tract infection [URTI]) is very distressing. Breastfeeding is the best way to relieve congestion. Breastfeeding also.... |

I am sure you will agree when I say I don't know where the time goes? It seems like yesterday I was writing the last newsletter and it is time for another one!
My aim is to give you the latest and safest advice on baby skincare and related topics combined with news of recent TIPS trials of products carried out by my independent (almost 300 in total!) parent testers. If you would like to join up then please check us out at www.tipslimited.com
Other trials just completed include the Kamillosan thermometer soother which is a simple and ingenious way of taking your baby's temperature. Read the review online plus 'results just in' on baby skincare products including two new nappy creams.
This newsletter is all about bathing which fits perfectly with the gorgeous products here... |

Welcome to my fifth newsletter at HalosnHorns. I am delighted to announce that I have been invited to continue as your baby skincare advisor for another year. I hope to bring you the best advice for parents on a variety of topics plus a sneak preview of my TIPS Awards within various categories of mother, baby and child related products. I am pleased to say that my final reviews (hinted at in my last newsletter) of 44 nursing bras and tops finally went online in March at www.tipslimited.com. This trial has taken more than six months of intensive work to complete and I believe it is the largest independent trial of bras and feeding tops carried out by any organisation. The statistics, as always, are amazing with....

Welcome to my fourth newsletter and due to the Xmas and New Year holidays the results for my nursing bras and tops were a little slower to arrive than planned. However they are now all in so I am wading through 220 score sheets in readiness to pick the winners and write up 40 reviews!! Check out my website at www.tipslimited.com in the coming weeks for the results.
Meanwhile I have been busy sourcing what I believe are some of the most inventive baby baths and cuddle towels on the market for my next category of testing. I will come back to you later in the year with my testers favourite designs. Although my two main passions are breastfeeding and baby skincare, I am frequently asked to write about many other issues that affect new parents. So for this newsletter I am going to bring you the latest information about cup feeding. This is based on an article I wrote for the MIDIRS Digest in 2006 but it fits in nicely with the Halos'n'Horns approach.... |

Welcome to my second news letter for Halos n Horns and I am delighted to announce I have been busy testing baby skin care products for my TIPS Award scheme. The full Halos n Horns range is one of the brands I will feature in this, the largest test I have completed so far (254 samples from 59 brands by 11 companies). My independent parent testers are busy as we speak and the results will be collated later in the summer. Results from previous tests on baby wipes, breast pads, breast treatments, nursing bras and the innovative Dream Mover can be seen online at www.tipslimited.com. I will update you on the final results of the bay skincare category in my next newsletter. I have no doubt that the Halos n Horns will shine through and pick up an award or two.
In this newsletter I will be concentrating on summer sun care tips and hope the following FAQs will be useful to you. I am particularly excited to see.... |

Welcome to my first newsletter for Halos n Horns...
I am delighted to be joining the team at Halos n Horns and would like to congratulate them on being the first company in the UK to recommend, on pack, the avoidance of baby products during the first month of life. This not only shows great foresight, which I applaud, but is the main reason why I am happy to be associated with this brand.
In this issue, I will be focussing on the most important tips for safe skincare. These form.... |
